How far along: 15 weeks
Due Date: September 17
Gender: We’ll know in less than three weeks! I can’t wait!
Baby Size: A naval orange; 2.5 ounces and 4 inches long. Baby Mac can now sense light and is moving around a lot (even if I can’t feel it yet)
Weight gain: Still holding at 3 pounds gained. Although I feel like I gained 10. What’s up with that?
Maternity clothes: Wearing my regular jeans with the assistance of a bella band and have purchased a few other essential items. A friend let me borrow a few pieces, including this floral dress I wore for my birthday.
Best moment this week: Other than celebrating my birthday, the biggest excitement of the week was when my mom and I hit up Weeusables, a local HUGE consignment event that happens twice a year. We waiting in line for 1.5 hours but it was so worth it. We spent a total of $320 but the retail of the all the items we purchased added up to over $1,000!
I scored a Chicco infant key fit 30 Zip car seat for $90 (retails at $229) and it looks like it was never used! My mom and I each got pack and plays. I got a bumbo seat, an activity mat, tons of toys and some clothes (both baby and maternity!) It was awesome and I had such a high from the experience.
Now I can’t stop peeking into the room to get a peek at all the baby items.
Looking forward to: Being able to feel Baby Mac move.
Food cravings: What aren’t I hungry for?
Anything making you queasy or sick: Broccoli and Alfredo sauce.
Mood: Happy but so overly emotional. Not sure if it was the fact of celebrating another year older but almost everything sends me into happy/bittersweet tears this week.
Symptoms: Trouble sleeping, experiencing terrible nightmares. Still have the sciatica nerve pain.
Loving: Even though I wish to hurry ahead and know the gender, get the nursery set up, give birth to finally meet Baby Mac I’m really trying to enjoy this experience. My body is changing almost every day and it’s simply amazing.
